Hello

Welcome to flossiedog.com

Flossie is a rescue dog from Cyprus. I adopted her in 2016 after losing my much loved dog of 13 years, Dotty.

I never thought I could love another dog as I loved Dotty.

But I was wrong.

In fact, living with Flossie has, and continues to be, an extraordinary learning experience. And some of it has been difficult. I have laughed, I have cried, and I have felt frustrated.

But most of all, I have felt an abundance of love for the extraordinary creature that is Flossie, as we stumble our way through life, learning as we go.

My name is Suzy Pope and I am a copywriter and newspaper columnist specialising in pets and lifestyle. This site is about my life with Flossie – our successes, our failures, and sometimes, just the things she does that make me double up with laughter.

It includes the newspaper column I write for the Bath Chronicle as well as my thoughts (and Flossie’s, of course) on various products we have tried and tested.

I hope you find our experiences interesting and that they are helpful to you in some small way.

With best wishes
